Cultivating critical global citizens through secondary EFL education: a case study of mainland China

This paper examines the enactment of critical literacy pedagogy in secondary English language teaching in the face of globalisation. This qualitative case study signals that global citizenship education (GCE) and English as a foreign language (EFL) teaching can converge through offering equitable and globally contextualised learning opportunities. The overarching themes presented here challenge the dominance of instrumentalist orientations of EFL education in mainland China today while mobilising pedagogical choices that affirm students' local and lived experiences in relation to international socio-political issues. Findings provide EFL educators nuanced insights into how critical global literacies are extended through critical understandings of literacies, interconnections from a personal to a global level, and opportunities for social actions on multicultural issues, thus fostering globally competent and bilingual learners who critically engage with the contested terrain of an increasingly globalised world.  相似文献

本文详细介绍了基于Android的测土配方施肥查询系统的总体设计及详细设计。该系统基于Android移动操作系统,采用克里格插值方法对山东省章丘市土壤养分信息进行数据处理,通过Web Service提供数据查询服务,采用C/S三层体系结构,借助于GPS和GPRS技术,实现了手机所定位地块的土壤养分信息移动查询,并采用目标产量法向用户提供合理施肥建议。用户可以通过该系统方便快捷地获取准确的土壤养分信息以及合理的施肥建议,这对于测土配方施肥技术的推广有积极作用。  相似文献

随着GNSS及计算机技术的不断发展,人们对室内外位置服务的需求不断增加。学校、医院、展厅、写字楼等都需要使用准确的室内外定位信息,特别是在应对紧急情况时,室内定位信息显得尤为重要。本文分析了多传感器融合的室内外定位技术研究进展,提出了基于数据融合的多传感器融合定位平台,以GPS技术为主导,结合WIFI、航位推算等定位技术的方法,通过一定的数据融合算法,增强室内外定位的完备性,为进一步实现室内外无缝定位、智慧地球等提供了参考。  相似文献

近年来随着云南省经济的不断发展,特别是"桥头堡"战略的提出和实施,地处云南省东南部的红河州由于其特殊的地理位置成为了我国西南发展对外贸易经济的重要通道。本文在对红河州农产品物流发展现状进行简要阐述的基础上,选取红河州2002—2011年间农林牧渔业产值、社会消费品零售总额、农业机械总动力、农民人均纯收入、全州贸易进出口总额、固定资产投资六个影响红河州农产品物流需求的因素,运用SPSS软件建立多元回归模型对红河州2012—2014年农产品物流需求进行了预测分析,其研究结果可以为红河州农产品物流今后的发展提供一定的参考。  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive compensation control scheme is developed via disturbance observer and quantum information technology for the four-rotor helicopter, which can handle the control problems of helicopter's attitude with the unknown actuator failures and external disturbance effectively. Both the digital simulations and the semi-physical simulations in a Quanser 3-DOF hover platform illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed compensation control scheme.  相似文献

Research into invention, innovation policy, and technology strategy can greatly benefit from an accurate understanding of inventor careers. The United States Patent and Trademark Office does not provide unique inventor identifiers, however, making large-scale studies challenging. Many scholars of innovation have implemented ad-hoc disambiguation methods based on string similarity thresholds and string comparison matching; such methods have been shown to be vulnerable to a number of problems that can adversely affect research results. The authors address this issue contributing (1) an application of the Author-ity disambiguation approach (0170 and 0175) to the US utility patent database, (2) a new iterative blocking scheme that expands the match space of this algorithm while maintaining scalability, (3) a public posting of the algorithm and code, and (4) a public posting of the results of the algorithm in the form of a database of inventors and their associated patents. The paper provides an overview of the disambiguation method, assesses its accuracy, and calculates network measures based on co-authorship and collaboration variables. It illustrates the potential for large-scale innovation studies across time and space with visualizations of inventor mobility across the United States. 本文从产业创新链和政策工具两个维度构建了新兴产业政策研究的理论框架,选取五个典型的发达国家和"金砖国家",以新能源汽车产业为例运用内容分析法对比研究了相关政策。研究发现:从产业创新链的角度,政策的制定与出台必须结合产业的发展规律;从政策工具的角度,政策的侧重与完善必须瞄准产业发展的瓶颈;十个国家的政策样本表明,政策的完善程度与产业的发展实际基本一致。进一步,针对中国新能源汽车产业政策体系存在的问题,从加大供给端政策的出台力度、环境支撑端特别重视充/换电等基础设施的建设、需求端采取"短期以公共交通为主,长期发展私人交通"的策略三个方面提出相应的政策建议。  相似文献

在自然要素禀赋第一本性和交通区位条件第二本性的支撑下,中国区域发展形成了基于中心地理论的中心-腹地结构。然而,以信息化条件和人力资本为标志的第三本性涌现后,区域发展需要新思想和新模式的指导,枢纽-网络结构适应了这种需要。枢纽-网络结构承认第三本性,遵从区域机会公平的政治逻辑,反映自由发展的经济思想,在扁平化网络组织理论的影响下,重视区域领导力,形成面向整体的专业化分工和一体化协作的区域新格局。  相似文献
